| Introduction: | A limited amount of funds has been set aside to provide financial aid to those first-time cadets who need the assistance in order to attend the encampment. |

| Donations Needed: | In order to be able to help all first-time cadets who need assistance in order to
attend the encampment, we are urging contributions to the scholarship fund. Any money received will be used soley to provide financial aid to needy

| Application Process for First Time Cadet: | The applicant needs to fill out the Encampment Financial Aid Form. Give the signed form to a member of Civil Air Patrol who will write a recommendation and send the completed form to the Encampment Registrar. This individual must be:
The signed form by the individual providing the reference must be received by the Encampment Application Deadline date. The applicant also sends the Encampment Application Form to the Encampment Registrar. Indicate that you are also applying for financial aid and enclose a $25 deposit towards the cost of the encampment. |
| Application Process for someone applying on behalf of a First Time Cadet: | Someone other than the cadet can initiate the request for financial aid. In this case, the individual requesting the aid fills out the Financial Aid form and gives it to a member of Civil Air Patrol who will write a recommendation and send the completed form to the Encampment Registrar. This individual must be:
The signed form by the individual providing the reference must be received by the Encampment Application Deadline date. No award will be made if the cadet does not have a completed Encampment Application on file with the Encampment Registrar by the deadline date. |
